Q: How do I book my event?
A: Please call us at (714) 914-7159 between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm, 7 days a week or email us at ocfunpartyrentals@gmail.com anytime to book your event.
Q: I tried calling you during your business hours, why am I not getting an answer?
A: Our phone number, (714) 914-7159 is a cellular phone. Unfortunately, we are not always able to answer our phone right away; we may be away from the desk or assisting another client. We are a family business and our work schedules do occasionally clash with our business hours. If we are unable to answer, please leave a voice mail; please be sure to include your name and phone number and we will call you back as soon as possible.
Q: Do you require a retainer?
A: We do require a retainer of $20. This retainer is included in our published rates, and is non-refundable. For your convenience, we accept major credit cards over the phone.
*Please note the retainer is non-refundable except in the case of a jumper or slide rental in the event of inclement weather.
Q: How long will you reserve services or rental items without a retainer?
A: It is our policy not to reserve services or rental items without a retainer. We will fill out an invoice with your information, but we will not hold any rental or service until we have received your retainer. We will confirm your booking via email after your retainer has been received.
Q: How do I submit my retainer?
A: For your convenience, we can now accept all major credit cards over the phone.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check, credit card, or money order upon delivery of any rental unit, or upon completion of services. If you wish to pay by personal check, we will require a valid California State drivers license.
Q: I wish to pay by personal check, are there any restrictions?
A: The OC Fun Check Acceptance Policy reads as follows:
OC Fun accepts personal checks and money orders. OC Fun reserves the right to refuse payment by check for any reason. A check must meet several requirements to be accepted, including, but not limited to, the following:
- You must show a valid California State drivers license, and OC Fun must be allowed to record your driver’s license number.
- The check must not be pre- or post-dated.
- The complete address should be imprinted on the check.
- The check must be signed in the presence of OC Fun.
- If the check is a company check, the signature must be legible and the name of the person signing must also be printed on the front of the check.
- The written amount and numerical amount must match.
- Funds must not be drawn on an out-of-state bank.
If a check is returned to OC Fun for any reason, you agree to pay a $20 Returned Check Fee. If a check is returned to OC Fun, you must supply another form of payment within 10 days. If an alternate form of payment has not been supplied by the end of the tenth day, OC Fun will submit the returned check to the Orange County District Attorney’s Bad Check Program, which requires restitution be paid, and allows the first time offender to avoid criminal prosecution by requiring they complete an eight-hour intervention class at their own expense.
Q: How far in advance should I book my event?
A: To guarantee your date and time, as well as the availability of your rental or service, you should book as soon as you know the date and time of your event.
Q: Do you charge a travel fee?
A: We service all Orange County and most of Los Angeles County. Please click here to see our service area. Bookings outside this area may require a minimum booking.
Q: Do you offer "day of" bookings?
A: We do on a limited basis. We will not always be able to accommodate a "day of" booking, due to availability of the rental unit or service. To guarantee a rental or service for your event, please book well in advance. A retainer will still be required on "day of" bookings.
