Q: What is included in the price of a slide rental?
A: The price includes slide rental, delivery, set up and take down.
Q: I have power lines over my yard; can you still set up a slide?
A: A slide cannot be setup under power lines.
Q: Do I need a flat space for the slide?
A: Yes, the area in which the slide will be set up must be flat. That doesn't necessarily mean level. If there is a slope, the slide must not slide down the slope at all.
Q: Do you offer same day delivery?
A: Yes, we can offer same day delivery, with limited availability. To guarantee a slide for your event, please book as soon as you know the date and time of your event.
Q: How do you secure your slide to the ground?
A: We use 18" metal stakes for setup on grass, and 50 pound sand bags on pavement.
Q: Can I pick up and set up the slide myself?
A: No, for your safety we handle all delivery, setup, and take down procedures of the slide. Once the rented unit has been set up at your event, it may not be moved by anyone other than OC Fun.
Q: Are your slides clean?
A: Yes, they are cleaned and sanitized after every rental.
Q: How close must the slide be to an electrical socket?
A: We provide one 50' electrical extension cord. We must have access to a grounded electrical outlet. Each blower requires one 20 amp electrical outlet (GFCI is preferred). The strongest electrical outlets in a typical family home are in the kitchen, laundry room, and garage.
Q: Do I need to provide a garden hose for a water slide?
A: Yes, the water slide must be hooked up to a garden hose.
Q: What kind of surface do you need to setup?
A: We can set up on pavement or grass. We are unable to set up an inflatable on gravel or sand.
Q: How far in advance should we book before our event?
A: To guarantee a unit for your event, please book as soon as you know the date and time of your event.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes, we require a $20 deposit to secure your rental, due at the time of booking. Your deposit is non-refundable except in the event of inclement weather.
Q: What do you consider to be inclement weather for a pertaining to a slide rental?
A: A slide is unsafe to use during rain or high winds (winds over 20 mph.) |
